“This new partnership is major for MMA,” explained Jake Klipp, co-founder of Pure Fighting Championships, “The sport is practiced by many fighters throughout Wisconsin, and extensively in the Oshkosh area. We are excited to showcase their art to the Fox Cities.”

The night of MMA will include local amateur fights including Oshkosh resident Matt Brown in the main event against UFC veteran Chico Camus, as well as other fighters throughout the Fox Valley. The event will also feature approximately three pro fights. Professional matchups will include Green Bay’s Jordan Berg and Fond Du Lac’s Tiffany Masters in bouts with out-of-state opponents.

“We are excited to bring Pure FC and its MMA lineup to Oshkosh and the Fox Valley,” said Greg Pierce, president, Fox Valley Pro Basketball. “Our goal in building the arena was to introduce a wide variety of sporting and entertainment event to this area. Pure FC will help attract an MMA audience that otherwise would need to travel to see the sport.”
