Fox Valley’s Cory Chisel to Bring Summer Series
Menominee Nation Arena is partnering with Fox Valley-born singer songwriter Cory Chisel. Chisel, along with cohorts at The Refuge Foundation for the Arts and around the country will be bringing a series of concerts to the arena beginning with Cory Chisel Presents: A Salute to Country Classics.
The June 17 show will be the first outdoor performance located in the Menominee Nation Arena parking lot. Chisel will be presenting three up and coming stars from Nashville, JP Harris, Erin Rae and Lillie Mae. The trio will be covering hits by Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams and many other classic country stars. The event is from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
“Cory Chisel does great work bringing music to the Fox Valley with Mile of Music and his other endeavors. We are very excited for what he has in store for the arena,” said Greg Pierce, President of Menominee Nation Arena, “This partnership is a great way to expand our reach to music lovers across northeast Wisconsin.”
Along with the outdoor Country Classic Salute show, Chisel will also be bringing A Salute to the Beatles in July and A Salute to Bob Marley in August. September will bring a new series called the Soul Shakedown series. Dates and details for both concert series will be announced in the near future.
“Menominee Nation Arena is one of the greatest up and coming performance venues in Wisconsin, and we are excited to be part of the success. We have a lot of music to bring, so stay tuned for more announcements, “said Kurt Kempen, spokesperson for Cory Chisel.
