Jeff Foxworthy to Woo Blue Collar Comedy Fans June 15th in Oshkosh
(OSHKOSH, Wis.) – Northeast Wisconsin fans of stand-up comedy are in for a treat when Jeff Foxworthy makes his appearance at Menominee Nation Arena June 15th at 7:30 p.m. The one-night-only show brings the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, best-selling author of more than 26 books and Grammy Awards nominee to Northeast Wisconsin for the first time since 2015.
“Common Man” Humor
Made famous by his “You might be a redneck if…” one-liners, Foxworthy’s humor goes beyond redneck jokes to explore the hilarity in family interactions and everyday life.
“He may define being redneck as possessing ‘a glorious lack of sophistication,’ but the truth is that Foxworthy, for all his regular-guy image, is a decidedly sophisticated artist,” says Kevin Thomas of the Los Angeles Times.
Just as his humor extends beyond redneck one-liners, his career has likewise extended beyond stand-up comedy. As a New York Times Bestselling author, Foxworthy has released three books in his Redneck Dictionary series, based on popular words and phrases used in the south that he frequents in his stand up act.
In addition, Foxworthy served as executive producer and starred in television shows “Foxworthy’s Big Night Out” and “Blue Collar TV,” following the success of “Blue Collar Tour, The Movie,” which has sold more than 4 million units to date. The film’s sequel, “Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again,” was Comedy Central’s third most watched telecast ever, leading the channel to its most watched day, weekend and week in its history.
Fun for the Whole Family
As the host of the hit FOX television game show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?,” Foxworthy brought light-hearted humor to family televisions across the country for six seasons.
He also lends his voice to numerous characters in different animated films, including “The Smurfs,” “Smurfs 2,” “Racing Stripes,” “Fox and the Hound II” and more. And, Foxworthy is the author of three best-selling illustrated children’s book, featuring the witty, sly humor that has become the trademark for Foxworthy.
Foxworthy brings this lively, relatable humor to the Menominee Nation Arena stage for a unique live performance on June 15. For tickets to Jeff Foxworthy’s Oshkosh appearance, visit the Menominee Nation Arena box office, call 920-744-2035 or click here.
